The Quad City Bass Fisherman's Club, is based in Davenport, Iowa along the banks of the Mississippi River, was formed in 1963 making it one of the oldest know bass in the country. The club currently boast a membership of over 200 men and women. We annually have 7 club closed tournaments, 2 open tournaments, and 2 his/her tournaments. The club's motto is "Leave Some For Seed" represents the emphasis placed on catch and release at every club tournament. Monthly meetings are held on the last Monday of the month, and the public is invited to attend.

Sign up will be at the ramp from 4:30-5:00 on Sunday April 26. The meeting is at 5:00. Weigh ins are at 3:00 on Saturday and 1:00 on Sunday. Jon Ahlers will be in charge of the teams signing up at Big Slough Landing at Lafayette Slough on the Wisconsin side. Times will be the same.

The Cassville 4 Person is something new to be tried. It will be two 2 boat teams with total weight deciding the winner. More details will come later. This is an Open and a non-points tournament. Tournaments out of Iowa ramps have been approved. All others are pending DNR approvals.
1.) Midwest Complete Construction / Terry Harris is the go-to for your construction and repair needs. If you have storm damage or want something repaired or even new construction, give them a call.
2.) Riverscape Vacation Rentals/ Kari and Ryan Beeman have quite a few cabins in DeSoto. It would be an excellent place to spend some time while fishing or even a family reunion.
3.) Adam Roethler / American Family Insurance in Davenport is a new sponsor. Check with him for competitive rates on anything you need insured.

Jerry Reynolds is selling shirts for the World Backlash Open his and hers tournament. There is a flier on the downloadable documents page if you are interested in ordering any. Please get with Jerry to get these on order before the tournament.
1.) The Sunday take off for 2-day tournaments will go back to reverse order from Saturday.
2.) The H/H, Tug, and the 4 Man are open tournaments and will also count as a qualifier for the Classic. There will be money from each of those tournaments added to the Classic payoff.
3.) It remains at 3 tournaments fished to qualify for the Classic, but of those 3 you must fish at least one regular points tournament and if you use opens to qualify you must also be a paid member to fish the Classic.
The details have been ironed out, and entry forms are available on the website and Facebook page. The entries will be capped at 25 teams / 50 boats so get your entries in early. The deadline for receiving them is Tuesday June 23. After that you take a chance on any openings being left. $100 boat / $200 per team and must be submitted together. Form is on the Downloadable Document page.
Per club rules, in order to fish a tournament, you must be a paid-up member at the time of the monthly meeting prior to the tournament that you wish to fish. Annual membership is only a mere $25 and can be purchased at any monthly membership meeting.
The Quad City Bass Club with a membership of over 200 individuals has sponsorship opportunities available for any business or individual looking to expand their advertising at a relatively cheap rate. For a mere $50 yearly, your business card sized ad will be placed in the monthly newsletter which is sent to each and every member and sponsor. For $125 annually your ad will be place in the monthly newsletter AND 3 gift cards will be given away in your name to a lucky contestant at the club sponsored tournament. Sponsorship forms can be downloaded from the link located in the folder on the website.
